orphan lambs

Hi does anybody know were I can purchase orphan lambs, I would like to buy privately rather than go through the auctions. I only want a small number, thanks

I would have thought if you approach your local sheep farmer he will be glad to get rid of any orphan lambs he has. When I lived on a farm we used to be able to get orphan lambs to put on sheep (if their own lamb had died) for around a fiver and similarly if we had a lot we were bottle feeding, we would sell them for a minimum amount to others.
