looking to convert to wood as primary fuel, been looking at woodfired ranges for heating, hotwater and cooking. Have considered ESSE W35 and Rayburn 345w but not sure either get good reviews has anyone got one of thse or any other make to comment on, thanks  |

I can't comment on the models you mention but both in my Bulgarian home and in my French home I have wood fired heating. In France I have an old style wood fuel cooker and its great. We have a W35 and find it a difficult beast to handle. Thankfully we have a back up gas boiler and cooker.
It works ok with the summer bricks, but in the winter configuration it acts as a wonderful boiler but does not heat the ovens, meaning we had to buy alternative means of cooking. |
